Session 1 – Adult Emphasis: Camp McDowell
Learning the notes
Session 1 will be held at Camp McDowell, located just off Alabama 195 at mile marker 13 between Jasper and Double Springs (address: 105 DeLong Road, Nauvoo, AL 35578 – note that even though this is a street address, Camp McDowell is not located in the town of Nauvoo).
From Birmingham: Take I-65 north from Birmingham. Take Exit 264 and turn left onto Daniel Payne Drive going west. Go 2½ miles and then turn right on Cherry Avenue. Go 2½ miles on Cherry Avenue and then take I-22 (Corridor X) towards Jasper. Take Exit 63 and turn right onto Alabama 269 north into Jasper. Turn right at second light onto 18th Street and an immediate left onto 9th Avenue, which will turn into Alabama 195. Take Alabama 195 approximately 15 miles to mile marker 13 and turn right into Camp McDowell.
From Huntsville: Take I-65 south to Cullman. Take U.S. 278 west to Double Springs. Take Highway 195 south approximately 10 miles to mile marker 13 and turn left into Camp McDowell.
From Florence/Muscle Shoals: Take U.S. 43 south from Florence to Russellville. Take Alabama 243 from Russellville until that road ends. Then take Alabama 195 south to Double Springs. Continue on Alabama 195 south about 10 miles and turn left into Camp McDowell at mile marker 13.
From Tuscaloosa: Take Alabama 69 north to Jasper. Take Alabama 195 approximately 15 miles to mile marker 13 and turn right into Camp McDowell.
Hotels are available in Jasper near Camp McDowell for stays before or after camp. Also, some campers elect to stay in hotels during camp.

Session 2 – Youth Emphasis: Camp Lee

Session 2 will be held at Camp Lee, located near Anniston, Alabama just off Interstate 20 (address: 70 Camp Lee Main Road, Anniston, AL 36207).
From I-20: Take Exit 188. From Atlanta, go right. From Birmingham, go left. Continue straight to third traffic signal. (Mapco on right corner, Chevron on opposite corner) Turn right onto Choccolocco Road. Camp Lee is 1.9 miles on the left.
From Gadsden and Jacksonville: Take Highway 431/21 and go south. Take a left on Greenbrier Road. There is a stop light for this turn. (Cowboys gas station on right.) At 2nd traffic signal, make left onto Coleman Road (BP gas station on corner). Coleman Road turns into Choccolocco Road at the second stop light. A Chevron station will be on left and a Mapco station will be on right corner. Continue straight and go 1.9 miles and you will see the Camp Lee entrance.
Hotels are available in Anniston/Oxford near Camp Lee for stays before or after camp. Also, some campers elect to stay in hotels during camp. Exit 188 is closer to the camp. Exit 185 is 3 miles west of Exit 188.
